After fighting demons alongside Buffy, Spike realizes he is in love with her. Though she is disgusted at first, they eventually begin a whirlwind relationship at the end of which Spike realizes he isn’t worthy of her. He then undergoes a series of trials and earns his soul back before returning to Sunnydale. After winning back Buffy’s trust, she realizes that he is the champion she needs to save the town from the Ubervamps in the Hellmouth.
Now Spike is working with Angel at Wolfram and Hart and has been assigned the task of testing Illyria’s abilities which she has no qualms showing since she’s intrigued by his resilience. A woman has been calling every day and leaving strange messages that Spike can’t seem to find the motivation to decode. What could a stranger want with him now?

Elly had just returned to L.A after a long travel around the world , It was time to stand still.She walked into the law firm and looked around “Nice!” she chucked talking to herself , she had talked to Lorne and she knew he was working there , giving her powers she could use a job and Wolfram & Hart looked like the type that can use her mojo , Besides a place like that should give a big pay cheek in the end of the mount .She walked around trying to find Lorne , or maybe his boss she knew he was a vampire but never really had seen him , she turned around facing a short blond man wearing a big black coat “hey ya! cuten face! , are y’a the boss around here? , Angel right?”
Spike looked at the odd women and laughed. “Not bloody likely. The name is Spike and the big man on top you’re looking for is down the hallway and to your left.” She told her figuring she was just another client.
“Oh” she raised her eyebrow “So y’a the other vamp! nice! “she chuckled “Heard a little about y’a tow! , Do you know Lorne? . Oh i don’t know , i’m just looking for someone who can give me a little help , looking to join the gang ” she shrugged ” Can y’a hire?…i mean do y’a work here?. Oh name’s Elly”
Spike chuckled a bit. “You know Lorne? That explains a lot.” She said referring to her bubbly personality. “My roll here is a bit complicated but I can take you to the big boss.” He added on a layer of sarcasm when referring to Angel. “Or Lorne if you prefer.”
